Research & Development
To maintain a high level and up-to-date performance of our products and services
and to define innovative applications of satellite remote sensing data for a better
benefit / cost ratio with the necessary adaptation of elaboration tools, we carry
out in-house Research & Development projects in co-operation with innovation partners
from Universities and Research Centres. Such projects mostly are being carried out
within relevant regional, national or European programs, but also under contract
with the customers.
A main component of such projects are close co-operations with the user and partners
from industry and research to achieve sustainability.
Projects carried out include:
- Development of a Statistical and Remote Sensing Based Approach for the Classification
of Debris-flow risks in the Italian Alps financed under the ASM - Applied Spatial
Management Program , an Initiative of the Department for Innovation, Research and
Development of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Bozen-South Tyrol, the
European Union, General Directorate for Regional Politics and the Italian State (www.asm.bz.it/136d161.html)
